We have made it out of the fog!

Prior to this weekend, the good people of Sarajevo have been in the deepest fog I've ever witnessed. Figuratively and metaphorically speaking. This latest batch began when Jesse left for America on the 20th of December and with only a hand full of it lifting a few hundred feet from time to time, it remained until lately. I have never seen fog where a semi-trailer can just appear from 40 feet away. Now, add a curve and trucker who is trained in offensive driving, as opposed to defensive, and it makes for an interesting commute to work. Oh, yes, You have to factor in the reach and power of windshield wipers on a 1975 Volkswagen bug as well. Henceforth, it will be referred to as "Buba". This translates to bug in the local language. That language is called Serb0-Croatian or juznoslovenski. It is spoken in many countries and many places in Bosnia, but with a new name, tradition, and origin for each. Basically, whereever you are, they spoke it there first. There will be many stories, trails and tribulations concerning the Buba, but mostly thankfulness for this beast in following posts.

Metaphorically, this much fog creates a burning desire for a patch of blue sky. Jesse posed the question a week ago, "can you imagine the joy people will have once the sun comes out?"

Welcome to my blog! I am new to this World Wide Web phenomenon, sure I dabble in a little email now and again, who doesn't? - but I'm hip to the times so I hope you can find the patience and some idle time to read some of this gibberish. Embarrassingly enough, I've noticed that I began this blog almost one year to the date... it also has fog in the title. So, at least you can see there is consistency here.

How is it that I have to much time on my hands, but too much work to do?
